This policy covers americanlegalmedia.com, the website of American Legal Media, LLC ("ALM", "we"). It describes what this website collects and how we use it.
What this website collects
This website has no forms and does not ask you for personal information. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
When you contact us
If you email or call us, we use what you share to respond and, for law firms, to discuss participation in our advertising program. We don't sell this information.
The firm portal
The firm portal at portal.americanlegalmedia.com is used by participating firms under their agreement with ALM. It uses cookies needed to keep you signed in. Payment cards are handled by our payment processor; ALM never sees or stores card numbers.
Your choices and California rights
California residents may ask what personal information we hold about them and ask us to correct or delete it, subject to legal exceptions. To make a request, email admin@americanlegalmedia.com. We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires.
